Pastry Chef

We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and breads for our restaurant. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, managing inventory, and ensuring all food safety standards are met.

• Prepare a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and breads according to recipes and menu specifications
• Create new dessert items to add to the menu based on seasonal ingredients or customer requests
• Keep up with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and methods into pastry creations
• Work closely with the head chef to ensure quality and consistency in all pastry dishes
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations while handling food products
• Train junior pastry staff members on proper techniques and procedures

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role is required
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
• Ability to create visually appealing desserts while also maintaining high quality standards
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff members

Salary:

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
