The Assets and Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing organizational assets and overseeing supply chain activities to ensure efficient procurement, inventory control, asset tracking, warehousing, and distribution processes. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, optimizing resource utilization, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Essential Duties Asset Management- Maintain a comprehensive asset register and ensure accurate tracking of all company assets.
- Monitor asset acquisition, allocation, transfer, maintenance, and disposal processes.
- Conduct regular physical asset audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate asset tagging and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
- Prepare asset reports and analysis for management review.
- Manage procurement activities and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.
- Analyze supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure efficient movement of materials and equipment across locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Establish inventory control procedures to minimize losses and stock shortages.
- Monitor stock turnover and optimize inventory levels.
- Generate regular reports on assets, inventory, procurement, and supply chain performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to assets and inventory.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all transactions.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and warehouse teams.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Support department managers in asset planning and inventory forecasting.
- Minimum High School Diploma with proven experience in facility management, supply chain, and logistics.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, facility management, supplier management, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Experience working with ERP systems and inventory or asset management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills in English;
Arabic is a plus.
