Lead Piping Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Piping Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will lead piping engineering activities, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and successful project execution from design through commissioning.

• Lead and oversee piping engineering activities for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Review and approve piping design deliverables, specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Manage piping engineering teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure compliance with international standards including ASME, API, ANSI, and relevant project specifications

• Review piping layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, material specifications, and stress analysis reports.
• Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review vendor documents, technical submissions, and engineering calculations.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, safety, schedule, and cost requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and technical meetings with clients and contractors.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in piping engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery projects
.

Proven experience leading piping engineering teams on EPC projects.

Strong knowledge of piping design, materials, fabrication, and construction practices.

Extensive knowledge of piping codes and standards including ASME B31.3, API, and ANSI
.

Experience with piping engineering software and tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Professional certifications are an advantage.
