Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, through a wholly owned affiliate Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Company (ACP), has two 50/50 joint venture projects in the Eastern Province Industrial City of Al-Jubail:
Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP) and Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP). A third joint venture, Saudi Polymers Company (SPCo), is jointly owned by ACP and National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem).
Responsible for specifying and commissioning new analyzers for efficiency improvement projects and obsolescence mitigation. This will be done through leading small capital/expense projects and providing technical support for larger capital/expense projects in multiple operating units. Additionally, this position will serve as a subject‑matter expert for analyzer O&M teams to rely on for support as needed.
Responsibilities- Maintain equipment availability at the highest operating level feasible through research and communication of new technologies and maintenance practices.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the Analyzer and Electrical maintenance groups as required.
- Apply reliability tools (Worst Actor Program, FMEA, RBI, RBM, RCM, Reliability Roadmap, etc.) to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset availability.
- Develop Critical Equipment lists and Critical Spares Inventory recommendations; monitor and optimize the stores system for future site‑wide needs.
- Participate in incident investigations to discover root cause of problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure effective analytical techniques for detecting and diagnosing problems in Analyzer equipment.
- Ensure all Analyzer equipment has an accurate criticality defined.
- Develop and maintain performance history to identify bad & worst actors; communicate findings and implement resolutions on time.
- Support the life‑cycle effort for Analyzers.
- Participate and provide advice in developing plans for major shutdowns, construction, or alteration projects.
- Conduct discipline engineering and design for capital and expense projects in accordance with site engineering standards and industry best practices.
- Provide project management support for small capital and expense projects with analyzers as the majority of scope.
- Support the execution of plant MOC (Management of change), including updated document review and project closeout.
- Execute quality assurance and quality control activities (FAT, SAT, Loop sells, etc.).
- Prepare technical reports and studies as directed by manager.
