We are seeking aknowledgeable and motivated Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience inair quality monitoring, stack emissions testing, environmental compliance, and industrial hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Conductstack emissions testing and air quality monitoring in accordance with applicable local, national, and international standards.
- Perform monitoring and assessment ofambient air, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene parameters.
- Analyze environmental monitoring data and prepare accurate technical and environmental reports.
- Support compliance with applicableenvironmental regulations, standards, and permit requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams onemission control systems and pollution reduction strategies.
- Develop and maintainair quality management plans and pollution prevention programs.
- Conduct site assessments and participate in environmental audits and compliance inspections.
- Provide technical recommendations foremission reduction, environmental compliance, and improved air quality.
- Stay updated on environmental regulations, monitoring technologies, and industry best practices.
- Educate employees and stakeholders onair quality, emissions, environmental compliance, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science,Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a strong focus on air quality monitoring and stack emissions testing.
- Qualified Source Testing Individual (QSTI) or similar certification.
- Strong knowledge ofair quality regulations and environmental compliance requirements, including local and international standards.
- Proficiency in environmental monitoring instruments, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with air dispersion modeling software such asAERMOD or CALPUFF.
- Knowledge ofemission control technologies and pollution reduction strategies.
- Arabic speaking and Arabic report-writing skills will be an advantage.
