Overview

Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support/augmentation to include:
Production control, Quality Control, Supply Management, maintenance, and repair of aircraft. The position requires a skilled Logistics Specialist capable of handling multiple logistics supply chain management formats, including military supply codes and civilian transport. Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level experience are desired for inspecting, repairing, removing, and replacing aeronautical system parts and components. The specialist will work in specialized shops associated with fixed base operations Field Level maintenance and perform troubleshooting, testing, maintenance repairs, and Technical Directive compliance on the H-60 Airframe in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and integrating overall logistics/supply support requirements of all organic aviation systems and assets.
  • Review documents on acquisition, basing, and operational mission requirements to recommend suitable organic and cost‑effective logistics/supply support concepts.
  • Participate in the preparation of an Integrated Logistics/Supply Support Plan, Follow‑on Support Plan, and other major program supply acquisition and follow‑on planning documents.
  • Attend meetings and conferences, reviewing ongoing and planned logistics and supply programs, and enhance RSNF participation with recommended agendas and organized logistic/supply data.
  • Conduct studies and analysis of logistics/supply related issues, evaluating trade‑offs and cost effectiveness of alternative courses of action to support decision‑making.
  • Track and analyze logistics/supply data to determine effectiveness of various logistics/supply management indicators.
  • Identify trends and logistics/supply support deficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and review logistics/supply operational and contingency plans, and assist in preparing logistics support annexes.
  • Assess automation feasibility for various logistics/supply support aspects.
  • Participate in planning and evaluation of exercises to ensure logistics/supply support concepts respond to operational needs.
  • Recommend training needs and deliver training on logistics/supply topics.
  • Assist in developing program, contract, and logistics/supply plans.
  • Prepare daily correspondence on logistics/supply issues as required.
  • Evaluate logistics/supply system requirements and identify capabilities to support projected operational force and mission requirements.
  • Recommend management actions for achieving program, contract, logistics/supply system growth and modernization goals.
  • Analyze, organize, plan, and administer provisioning, spares, and maintenance/repair activities for programs of moderate scope.
  • Analyze contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, and related reports to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
  • Develop logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
  • Identify, prioritize, and assess key logistics assets and infrastructures.
  • Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures for quality and cost control.
  • Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies for desired delivery times.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience in related military logistics/supply functional disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of automated logistics/supply support systems.
  • Experience in developing plans, studies, analysis, conducting briefings and training.
  • Familiarity with the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.
  • Previous experience with US logistics/supply support to foreign nations in an overseas environment.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma required.
Clearance Requirements
  • Must obtain and maintain NAC(T3) Background Investigation and drug test.
  • Must obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
