Job Summary

The Welding QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved welding procedures, Saudi Aramco standards, and international quality codes. The role involves conducting welding inspections, verifying quality documentation, supporting client inspections, and ensuring all welding work meets project quality and safety requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection of welding activities in accordance with approved WPS, ITPs, project specifications, and international codes.
  • Conduct fit-up, in-process, and final welding inspections.
  • Verify welder qualifications, welding consumables, and welding equipment before commencement of work.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco quality requirements and project specifications.
  • Review welding procedures, inspection reports, NDT reports, and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and client representatives during inspections.
  • Raise and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation.
  • Support client audits and quality inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and quality management systems.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Saudi Aramco projects as a Welding QC Inspector.
  • Saudi Aramco CBT (Computer-Based Test) Passed – Mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of welding inspection procedures, WPS, PQR, ITP, and international welding codes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding documentation.
