- Insulation performs inspection and testing of thermal/mechanical insulation and cladding installation activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Job Analysis
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections on insulation and cladding installation works
- Verify insulation material, thickness, and installation method against approved specifications
- Witness moisture barrier, banding, and cladding installation checks per the ITP
- Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications
- Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required
- Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports
- Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site
- Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for insulation works
- Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and insulation standards
- Support preparation of quality documentation for insulation handover dossiers

- Timely identification and reporting of non-conformances
- First-time inspection pass rate on assigned work fronts
- Adherence to inspection schedules/hold points

Required Experience and Education Experience
- 5-8 years of experience as a QC Inspector on insulation/cladding application projects
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- QC/inspection certification preferred
