Head Chef - Al-Malikiyah, Syria

We are in search of a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation and presentation, and managing kitchen staff.

• Create innovative and delicious menu items using fresh and locally sourced ingredients
• Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and efficient service
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
• Maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and specials
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Conduct regular quality checks on all food items to maintain consistency and quality control

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and plating methods
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique menu offerings
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years experience working as a chef in a high-end restaurant setting
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Salary: $1400 per month
