Library Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for books and knowledge to join our team as a Library Assistant in Al-Rayyan. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian with various tasks such as shelving books, organizing materials, and providing support to library patrons. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals without prior experience, and we welcome applicants from Pakistan who are fluent in English.

• Assist librarian with daily tasks such as book shelving, organizing materials, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the library
• Provide excellent customer service to library patrons by answering questions, helping them find materials, and recommending resources
• Process new library materials by cataloging, labeling, and adding them to the library's collection
• Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned materials using our library system
• Assist with planning and implementing educational programs and events for patrons of all ages

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Passion for books, learning, and community service

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

This job is located in Al-Rayyan.
