Job Description:

Boeing Global Service is seeking an Apache Mechanical Technician (Avionics) to join the AH‑64E Qatar Air Force Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) located at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

• Performs maintenance on the AH‑64E electrical/avionics/armament/fire control/radar/visionics/ASE systems and components using the QAF‑specific AH‑64E IETM, Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and Checklist Manual.
• Diagnoses and repairs aircraft system malfunctions, including solid‑state and transistorized devices, following technical manuals, directives and safety procedures.
• Executes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions, authorized modifications, and alignment of AH‑64E weapons components, fire‑control/radar units, sighting elements/visionics, ASE, electronic and mechanical devices, and instruments.
• Uses common measuring tools and precision measuring tools/fixtures required for maintenance tasks.
• Handles aircraft ammunition, performs weapon system loading/unloading, arming and de‑arming, and subsystems configuration changes for all AH‑64E weapons and fire‑control systems within the SOW.
• Performs aircraft system operational checks.
• Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs aircraft system test sets and diagnostic equipment.
• Assists the QAF in requisitioning and maintaining shop and bench stock items for repair of armament, ASE, electrical, avionics, instrument, fire‑control, radar, and visionic systems.
• Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Diagnoses and solves subsystems problems using special tools and equipment as required.
• Performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools, Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE), and Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE).
• Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records.
• Provides OJT, coaching, and mentorship to QAF personnel on all applicable technical publications, tools, test equipment, AGSE, PGSE, and special equipment, enabling them to become effective ASE Technicians.
• Coordinates training.
• Works under general direction.
• Travels on short notice, both domestically and internationally.
• Position is 100% onsite at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

• Minimum 5years of experience as an AH‑64D/E aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/ASE Technician.
• Minimum 3years of experience with Unit Level Logistics System‑Aviation (ULLS‑A(E)) or a similar aviation maintenance management system.
• Completion and qualification through the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces aircraft avionics/armament/fire control/ASE maintenance course or an equivalent civilian training.
• Contractor factory training or equivalent industry training reviewed and approved by the PCO or designated representative and/or the GFR as a substitute.

• 3+years with ULLS‑A(E) or a similar aviation maintenance management system.
• Army Service School Instructor or civilian equivalent experience instructing ASE Technicians.
• Prior experience or qualification in another aviation maintenance field.
• Prior experience working in the Southwest Asia/desert region.

First shift; strictly 100% onsite at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
