Function Description- Visiting the bridge for your watch, you will plot waypoints and manage safe navigation as a dedicated 2nd Officer.
- Engage with the deck crew to oversee safe cargo operations and daily maintenance routines alongside your fellow crew members.

- Support safety management systems and ensure full compliance with international maritime standards on every voyage.

- Taking the helm during your bridge watch, plotting precise routes on the ECDIS, and navigating safely through busy sealanes.
- Managing GMDSS communications and ensuring all navigational instruments are calibrated and ready for action.
- Overseeing safety gear inspections and assisting the master with voyage planning to keep operations running smoothly.
- Collaborating closely with the deck crew and engineering team to maintain high standards of shipboard safety.
- Taking advantage of onboard mentoring and career development programs tailored for an ambitious 2nd Officer.
