Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Hotel Maintenance Engineer vacancy in Al-Rayyan Qatar. We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities and equipment.

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance services
• Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenses
• Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measures where possible
• Train and supervise junior maintenance staff

• Proven experience as a hotel maintenance engineer or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems commonly used in hotels
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Previous experience working in a luxury hotel setting
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
