Hotel Maintenance Engineer - Al-Rayyan, Qatar. A luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel maintenance and possess excellent technical skills. As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep and functionality of the hotel's facilities and equipment.

This includes troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues, as well as conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, have good communication skills, and be willing to work flexible hours as needed. Salary for this position starts at $1500 per month.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a hotel or similar environment
• Strong technical skills with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Flexibility to work flexible hours and on-call shifts when necessary
• Indian nationality preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues in the hotel's facilities
• Conduct routine inspections of all equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis to prolong the life of equipment and prevent future issues
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to guests
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance
• Continuously monitor energy usage throughout the hotel and recommend ways to improve efficiency
• Stay up-to-date on all safety regulations and comply with them at all times
