Head Baker - Al-Rayyan, Qatar

We are in search of a highly skilled, experienced and creative Head Baker to oversee the baking operations in our busy bakery located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for creating and producing a variety of high-quality baked goods, managing a team of bakers and ensuring that all products are made to our high standards.

• Create and develop new recipes for breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods
• Oversee the baking process from start to finish, ensuring consistency and quality
• Train and manage a team of bakers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery at all times
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and laws
• Collaborate with other departments to plan menus and specials for events or holidays
• Manage costs by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures

• Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role in a high-volume bakery setting
• Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, recipes and ingredients
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A creative eye for detail with an ability to develop new recipes
• Must be physically fit as this job requires standing for long periods of time
• Previous experience working in Qatar or knowledge of Qatari cuisine is preferred

Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
