Cashier for Supermarket in Al-Rayyan

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at a busy supermarket located in Al-Rayyan. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions with customers, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout counter
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and sales items
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and keeping the store clean and orderly
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and security.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling money
• Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

This job is based in Al-Rayyan, Qatar.

This is a full-time job without accommodation provided. The successful candidate will need to make their own living arrangements.

Sponsorship for a work visa may be provided for non-Qatari nationals if required.
