Handyman - Maintenance and Repair Specialist

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in commercial and residential properties. This individual must have strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. The ideal candidate should have experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general building maintenance. This role requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work independently or as part of a team.

The Handyman will be based in Al-Rayyan but may be required to travel to different locations within the city for work.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and basic carpentry
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures
• Conduct electrical repairs including changing light bulbs, fixing outlets, and replacing switches
• Inspect buildings for any safety or maintenance issues and report them to the supervisor
• Respond quickly to emergency calls for repairs
• Install new fixtures or equipment as needed
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment needed for repairs
• Follow safety procedures when using tools or working on projects
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed

• Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician is preferred but not required
• Strong technical skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, etc.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot problems and find solutions independently
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor when necessary
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
• Must have a valid driver s license and own transportation to travel between job sites

1300$ per month

Based in Al-Rayyan but travel within the city for job assignments may be required.
