Marine Manager

Summary:

The Marine Base Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and safe operation of marine base activities within the UAE’s dynamic offshore and marine sector. This position is central to ensuring seamless coordination between vessels, crews, technical teams, and external stakeholders, supporting the successful delivery of offshore projects. The ideal candidate will lead day-to-day operations with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and performance, while driving operational excellence across marine logistics, vessel scheduling, and resource management.

• Manage and oversee daily marine base and offshore support operations
• Coordinate vessel movements, crew schedules, marine logistics, and operational planning
• Supervise marine personnel, technical teams, and offshore support staff
• Ensure all marine activities comply with HSE policies and maritime safety regulations
• Monitor vessel maintenance schedules and coordinate with technical departments when required
• Maintain smooth communication with clients, port authorities, suppliers, and project teams
• Prepare operational reports, maintenance records, and project updates
• Support offshore projects, drydock activities, marine transportation, and logistics operations
• Ensure proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and marine resources
• Respond quickly to operational issues and support emergency planning when needed

• Previous experience as a Marine Base Manager or in a senior marine operations role
• Strong understanding of offshore support services, vessel operations, and marine logistics
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple marine activities efficiently
• Good communication and coordination skills
• GCC marine industry experience will be considered an advantage
