Overview

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading technology solutions and services provider in Doha Qatar. Our client is looking to hire a Systems Engineer - Hardware & Asset Management Engineer who will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of all ICT infrastructure hardware and assets supporting major sports venues. This includes HCI cloud platforms CCTV systems core infrastructure services and all related assets.

The role ensures operational readiness compliance and high availability for live events and venue operations.

• General Infrastructure Services Asset Management:
  Manage assets related to core ICT services (servers switches firewalls UPS AV equipment etc.).
• General Infrastructure Services Asset Management:
  Ensure all infrastructure assets are tracked maintained and compliant with organizational standards.
• General Infrastructure Services Asset Management:
  Support hardware refresh cycles and ensure minimal disruption to venue operations.
• General Infrastructure Services Asset Management:
  Maintain spare inventory for urgent replacements during events.
• HCI & Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Manage the lifecycle (procurement deployment maintenance retirement) of HCI nodes storage and networking assets.
• HCI & Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Maintain accurate records of all HCI and infrastructure assets in the Asset Management database/CMDB.
• HCI & Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Ensure proper tagging labeling and documentation of all infrastructure assets.
• HCI & Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Support rapid deployment and recovery for event operations.
• Cloud Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Track and manage cloud-based assets (virtual machines storage networking components) used for venue operations.
• Cloud Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Coordinate with cloud teams for provisioning scaling and decommissioning resources.
• Cloud Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Maintain inventory of cloud licenses subscriptions and resource allocations.
• Cloud Infrastructure Asset Management:
  Ensure compliance with cloud security and cost management policies.
• CCTV & Security Systems Asset Management:
  Oversee inventory and lifecycle of CCTV cameras NVRs access control and related security hardware.
• CCTV & Security Systems Asset Management:
  Coordinate with security and operations teams for deployment maintenance and upgrades.
• CCTV & Security Systems Asset Management:
  Maintain documentation and asset records for all surveillance and security systems.
• CCTV & Security Systems Asset Management:
  Support incident response by ensuring asset readiness and availability.
• Operational Support for Events:
  Provide Level 2 support for hardware and asset issues during live events.
• Operational Support for Events:
  Coordinate with ICT and venue operations teams for asset readiness before during and after events.
• Operational Support for Events:
  Ensure high availability and rapid recovery of critical infrastructure assets.
• Operational Support for Events:
  Support incident response and troubleshooting for infrastructure services.
• ITAM Tools & Systems Management:
  Utilize ITAM platforms such as Matrix
  42 SCCM/MECM Service Now Fresh service or equivalent systems.
• ITAM Tools & Systems Management:
  Ensure asset discovery tools (agent-based/agentless scanning) are functioning correctly.
• ITAM Tools & Systems Management:
  Generate asset reports for audits budgeting and compliance reviews.
• Compliance & Governance:
  Ensure adherence to IT asset management policies security standards and audit requirements.

  Support internal and external audit activities through data validation and reporting.

  Manage asset disposal as per organizational and environmental compliance guidelines.

  Provide Level 2 support for hardware issues and escalations.

  Maintain spare inventory and ensure availability for urgent replacements.

  Apply knowledge of Windows client Windows Server and Red Hat Linux Operating systems to enable ITAM integration.
• Procurement & Vendor Coordination:
  Coordinate with procurement for acquisition renewals AMC and warranty claims for all ICT infrastructure assets.

  Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with venue requirements.

  Manage vendor relationships for warranty repair and replacement workflows.

Experience &

Education:


8 years of hands-on experience managing HCI cloud CCTV and core ICT infrastructure assets.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).

Required Skillset:
Familiarity with ITAM tools (Matrix
