Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Internal Communication: Shipyard Personnel
Purpose: To communicate with other section peoples during work, to communicate with the peoples inside the organization, and to communicate with peoples in the region during work.
External Communication: N/A
Occupational Health & Safety and Environment
Accountability: Are accountable for their acts and omissions.
Responsibility: To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.
Authority: To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.
Responsibilities- Responsible for all kinds of machine works.
- Operating all kinds of machines in shipyard such as milling machine, lathe machine, shaping machine, slotting machine, etc.
- Reading drawings of all jobs.
- Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the division's Quality Assurance procedures and Quality Manuals.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills
Education & Professional
Qualification:
I.T.I. training or technical training school certificate in the trade of machinist.
Professional
Experience:
- 5-10 years experience in a similar trade.
- Heavy engineering industries experience in machining required.
- Shipyard experience preferred.
- Experience certificate from heavy engineering organizations.
Geographic
Experience:
Records of good company work experience.
