Security Specialist – Umm‑Said, Qatar

As a Security Specialist in Umm‑Said, Qatar, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's assets and personnel. You will join a diverse and dynamic team who is committed to maintaining a secure environment.

• Monitor and assess potential security risks and threats to the company's operations in Umm‑Said.
• Conduct regular security inspections of facilities, equipment, and personnel to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Train employees on security awareness and emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as needed during a security incident or crisis.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and reports.
• Keep up‑to‑date on industry best practices and technological advancements in security systems.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice or Security Management (preferred but not required).
• At least 2 years’ proven experience in security management as a Security Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of local laws related to security in Qatar.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing effective security measures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train others on security procedures.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and experience working with local authorities (advantageous).
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations calmly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary.
