AWS/CES is looking for a Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry during month-end close including A/R, A/P, job costing, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile GL accounts to source documents.
• Match and input vendor and customer information into accounting software.
• Maintain accounting for fixed asset purchases and depreciation.
• Assist with vendor check preparation, EFT payments, and other duties as assigned by the Plant Controller.
• Maintain confidentiality and internal controls.
• Provide support to off-site and location employees as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
