Assistant Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to support a manufacturer of a complete range of products for vehicle testing and lifting.

• Oversee all accounting and finance functions within the organization.
• Perform daily accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, troubleshooting accounting issues.
• Cash management incl all forms of disbursements, credit cards, and foreign exchange transactions. Determine cash requirements, maintaining cash flow.
• Perform month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Conduct ad‑hoc projects as assigned.
• During annual financial audits ensure requests are completed and fulfilled while liaising with auditors, corporate, and organization staff.
• Collaborate with external tax preparation firms.
• Collaborate with corporate controlling to prepare annual budget/financial planning.
• Review accounting processes and implement improvements.

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 8 years of experience, including manufacturing industry, is a must.
• Experience with ERP system. The company will be transitioning to SAP from BaaN.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, general understanding of corporate tax.
• Proficient in Excel, MSWord and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
