Inside Sales Representative

As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be part of our Commercial team in Calvert, AL.

The Americas’ footprint also expands to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, which is the only stainless steel cold rolling mill plus service center in the country.

Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment (metals industry experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software required
• Experience with SAP or JDE-iSeries is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Executes quotes for both the Americas and European production facilities based on each facility’s unique product offerings.
• Provides accurate and proactive order status updates to customers regarding process order status and delivery information.
• Releases orders for shipment.
• Troubleshooting/problem-solving – late orders, missing paperwork, logistic issues, production related issues, etc.
• Reconciles invoice issues.
• Enters and modifying orders for up to 3 manufacturing facilities while ensuring orders are applicable to each facility’s unique product offering.
• Serves as a liaison between multiple internal departments and the customer.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary Range: $67,500- $84,800
