We are producing the new Hypersonic vehicles for Air Force, Army and Navy. Join the Lockheed Martin team and be a part of the company that has developed and flown more hypersonic vehicles than any other U.S. Company. Lockheed Martin has decades of hypersonic development and flight test experience, from government contracts to internal investments in research and development projects, not to mention many Electronic Assembly Harness and Chassis manufacturing programs for missile systems, satellites and ground support equipment.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the shaping and development of the production activity for all Electronics, Assembly, and Test Facility programs.
• Establish personnel, equipment, and facility resources needed for execution.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with all programs and functional leadership at the Courtland Site to ensure achievement for all program objectives.
• Institutionalize focused execution of standard processes and ensure best practices are communicated and utilized.
• Drive affordability and commonality initiatives which will reduce cycle time, generate program reserve, and assure future program awards, including adoption of enterprise-wide production best practices.
• Ensure Operations Manufacturing Engineering team is staffed, ready, and executing on cost and schedule.
• Serve as the spokesperson for the organization relating on significant matters relating to production operations The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
• React quickly under pressure, dealing with a broad customer base.
• Make decisions that affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization.
• Work under long range goals and objectives.
• Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity while effectively identify, manage, mitigate, and control risk.
• Be a self-starter
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in a production or assembly and integration environment
• Manufacturing engineering or related experience
• Informal or formal leadership experience
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired
Skills:
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Cable harness or chassis experience
• Formal Full Spectrum Leadership experience
• Experience working with schedules/programmatic and integrating performance data.
• Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) to include Earn Value Management (EVM)
• 3+ years of experience in a production or assembly and integration environment with recent (within the last 5 years) demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience leading or supporting Manufacturing Milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR).
• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
• Experience working with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
• Experience in preparation of technical documentation and analyzing technical data.
• 3+ years leadership experience
• Lean six sigma Green Belt training or certified
• Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Experience with Statement of Work (SOW) and Electronic Production Operations…
