Duties DUTY 1:
Plans, directs, organizes, and manages the Mission Support Group program including such areas as logistics planning and readiness, security forces, civil engineering, communications, services, and personnel. Incumbent manages a limited number of support functions or does not have the full complement of base support services as these services are provided by the host activity. DUTY 2:

Represents the wing with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. DUTY 4:
Accomplishes special staff studies and projects resulting from reorganizations, regulatory changes, new technology, mission changes, etc. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

* This is a key management position in which the incumbent is required to formulate, determine or influence training policies of the unit to which assigned.
* The incumbent must possess demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities essential to successful accomplishment of the responsibilities inherent in a senior command position. Qualifications THIS IS AN AIR RESERVE TECHNICIAN OFFICER POSITION. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer position located at 908 MISSION SUPPORT GP with the military rank of Col., AFSC: 030C0. SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Exercising significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other units or organizations, or in advising management officials of higher rank. Making decisions on non-routine, costly, or controversial training needs and training requests related to employees of the unit.
Finding and implementing ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building or improve business practices.

Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
