Staff Pharmacist

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Staff Pharmacist role located in Harvest, AL. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling on proper medication use, and reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and safety. They will maintain inventory levels, collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care, and enforce compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations to ensure safe pharmaceutical practices.

Additionally, the Staff Pharmacist will oversee pharmacy technicians and assist in maintaining a high level of customer service to patients.

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, including prescription verification and understanding of medication interactions
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills to provide clear medication instructions and health advice
• Experience with inventory management and compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and lead pharmacy technician teams effectively
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with effective problem-solving skills

  D or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Current and active state pharmacy license in good standing for Alabama
• Previous experience as a Staff Pharmacist is a plus but not required
