We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Service Director to join our team at Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional social services to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Social Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the social services department at our rehabilitation center. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective social services programs to meet the emotional, psychosocial, and psychological needs of our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and individualized care.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Social Services Department: Manage the day-to-day operations of the social services department, including staff supervision, budgeting, and program development.
  • Patient Care: Conduct social assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide counseling and therapy services to patients and their families.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Staff Development: Provide guidance, support, and training to social work staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Program Development: Design and implement programs to address the social and emotional needs of our patients, including support groups, educational workshops, and community outreach programs.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Must be licensed as a Social Worker (LSW, LCSW, or equivalent) in the state of Alabama.
