Position: PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Butler, AL
Location: Butler

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Butler, Alabama. This per diem (as-needed) position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to tailor your schedule while delivering high-quality care to patients across a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient, and long-term care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician seeking flexible hours and meaningful work with a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for patients of all ages.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient s unique needs and goals.

  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.

  • Educate and counsel patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies, therapy techniques, and progress expectations.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Stay up to date with current best practices, research, and innovations in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Active Alabama state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered).

  • Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of patient needs and schedules.

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
