Whatyou'll do
- Implement targeted pediatric occupational therapy interventions in a clinic setting to support children's individualized plan-of-care goals, motor development, and functional independence

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary clinic team members (speech therapists, physical therapists) to provide home exercise programs, sensory strategies, and adaptive recommendations for home and school environments
- Document clinical progress toward functional milestones, complete timely session notes, and assist the supervising OTR with periodic re-evaluations and treatment plan updates
- Use and maintain clinic therapy equipment (swings, sensory tools, adaptive seating, fine motor manipulation stations) tailored to each child's treatment needs
- Maintain warm, supportive communication with parents and caregivers to explain therapeutic activities, share home strategy ideas, and support family-centered progress

- Active (or eligible for) COTA license from the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy

- Strong interpersonal communication, patience, creative play-based problem-solving, and a deep understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and sensory integration techniques
- Prior experience working in a pediatric clinic, outpatient therapy setting, or early intervention environment preferred
