Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Developer to join our team, working on projects for one of our largest clients in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications, with a focus on Mainframe technologies.<
Responsibilities:< <
Lead the development and management of Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.<
Manage and coordinate team activities to ensure timely sprint deliveries.<
Provide automation demonstrations and walkthroughs to client teams.<
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth QA delivery throughout the SDET lifecycle.<
Supervise data and environment coordination for project activities.<
Conduct automation meetings and provide accurate and timely status updates to the project team.<
Coordinate schedules for builds and fixes, ensuring alignment with project timelines.<
Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks within a Dev Ops context.<
Participate in daily status calls to track project progress and address any issues.< <
Mandatory

Skills:

Proficient in Mainframe Development with hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.<
Strong team management skills with experience in sprint delivery.<
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.<
Experience in leading automation initiatives and providing client-facing demonstrations.<
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and story point estimation.<
Ability to work independently and manage a team in an Agile environment.<
Knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and analysis. Enterprise COBOL is a deal-breaker skill. Preferred

Skills:

* Hands-on experience with J2ME and Spring Boot is a plus.
* Experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
* Understanding of Dev Ops practices and tools.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Engineering (BE), Computer Applications (BCA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent technical degree from a reputed institution. About Mphasis:
