AMX Trucking is looking for a driven, hands‑on Operations Manager to take the lead in our day‑to‑day driver operations.

We're looking for someone who knows how to lead a team, solve problems, improve productivity, and keep operations running smoothly
. If you're the type of person who can walk into a busy operation, identify what's slowing things down, and figure out how to make it better — we want to meet you.

This is more than a management position. You'll have a direct impact on our drivers, dispatch team, efficiency, and overall success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee daily driver operations and keep productivity moving in the right direction.
• Lead, coach, and support our dispatch team.
• Help hire and train new dispatchers.
• Build schedules and make sure the team has what they need to succeed.
• Monitor driver and operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Establish performance metrics and hold the team accountable to results.
• Analyze what's working, what's not, and find better ways to do it.
• Create and implement processes that make our day‑to‑day operations more efficient.
• Communicate new policies, procedures, and expectations clearly to the operations team.
• Lead team meetings and help keep everyone aligned when things change.
• Work closely with Customer Service and other departments to keep communication and workflow running smoothly.
• Handle performance issues and employee concerns professionally and fairly.
• Help create a positive, productive, and accountable team environment.
• Represent AMX Trucking professionally with employees, customers, and industry partners.

Experience We're Looking For

Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or a similar fast‑paced environment is highly valued.

Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

You should also be comfortable with:

• Microsoft Office Suite and similar business software
• Performance metrics and reporting
• Employee coaching and performance management
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making
• Business operations and financial concepts
