Assembly Operator - 2nd Shift; Sun EST

Overview

Assembly Operator - 2nd Shift (Sun - Thursday, 6PM - 6AM EST). This position involves assembling and testing models in a safe manner in accordance with quality requirements.

• Perform work in a safe manner, following all safety rules.
• Ensure component parts and finished assemblies meet quality checks required by the stations.
• Use only the component parts required for the part being assembled.
• Attach components in the prescribed order to assemble the product.
• Align, fit and secure components using hand operations and fastening techniques for bench work.
• Assist other operators on the line.
• Perform the work of all stations on a rotating basis as required by the company.
• Move parts from containers on the floor or to containers in the work area.
• Perform assigned work efficiently based on company standards.

• Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

• High school diploma (or GED).
• Knowledge of SPC (HCI certification preferred).
• Ability to use hand pallet jack, measuring scale and weight scale.

• Works in a factory environment with noise from manufacturing. Exposure to moving equipment, parts and electrical hazards. Potential for injury around equipment.
• May lift, carry or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for more than 8 hours per day.
