The Non Profit Marketing & Communications Coordinator will combine strategic communication skills with exceptional writing abilities to generate marketing and digital communications materials and communications that support Good Bot’s mission. This role involves creating content, developing effective communications materials, and fostering relationships through impactful communication with public and professional audiences. Communications must also take into account a rapidly changing geopolitical context.

• Digital Marketing & Content Strategy
• Manage and optimize Good Bot’s online presence across digital channels, including social media, email campaigns, and the main website.
• Translate complex public interest technology themes into engaging content across blogs, ongoing projects, and public campaigns to expand reach and audience engagement.
• Execute digital growth campaigns to drive public adoption and awareness of key initiatives.
• Digital Literacy & Program Communications
• Promote, communicate, and support outreach for Good Bot’s digital literacy initiatives, including the Bridge Program and Ready or Not projects under Resilient Futures.
• Develop user-friendly messaging, educational materials, and campaign content tailored to diverse community audiences.
• Policy Literacy & Thought Leadership
• Translate technical and legal concepts from Good Bot Policy Platforms and public policy Submissions into accessible, compelling public communication.
• Create summaries, infographics, and policy briefs to engage community stakeholders, researchers, and policymakers on responsible AI and platform governance.
• Multimedia & Broadcasting Production
• Support the production, promotion, and distribution of Good Bot’s multimedia content, including webinars, podcasts, and video assets available via Good Bot Media.
• Coordinate webinar logistics, podcast publishing schedules, and multi-channel promotional strategies to maximize listenership and event attendance.
• Content Creation & Brand Management
• Produce compelling content for platforms including newsletters, press releases, social media, and campaign landing pages.
• Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms, creating brand guidelines to maintain organizational standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and researchers to highlight project milestones and program impact.
• Analytics, Reporting & PR Support
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics across social channels, email marketing, and web traffic using relevant analytics tools.
• Deliver regular insights and performance reports to evaluate strategy effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.
• Support public relations efforts, press distribution, and media outreach as needed.

• 1-2 years prior experience in marketing and social media
• Experience with CRM platforms
• Proficient and comfortable with social media management including Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Linked In, and Tik Tok, either through education, work, or volunteering
• Knowledge of graphic design (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), photography, and/or video edition software is an asset
• A desire and ability to create powerful messaging and elegant design
• Strong prioritization and project management skills
• Action-oriented, problem-solving, and excellent attention skills.
• PR experience is an asset
