Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team at UAB Medical West. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in this role.

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Certification in a specialized area of nursing
• Experience with electronic medical records

• Assessing and evaluating patient needs and developing care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical history
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
