Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Operating Room position requiring significant neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics experience.
Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room specializing in neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotic cases

• Day shifts available: either 4 shifts of 10 hoursor 3 shifts of 12 hours

• On-call required 1-2 times per week (Mon-Thur) after scheduled shift until 0700 next morning

• Weekend call required: 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, from end of Friday shift until 0700 Monday

• Holiday call coverage required based on department need

• No scheduled weekend shifts outside of call

• 30-minute callback response time required

• Uses Epic EMR;
Epic experience required

• May provide care for COVID patients as needed

• Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment

• Maximum of 7 days' requested time off permitted

• Assigned manager will conduct interviews after clinical prescreen

• Blocked scheduling is not available
Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room nursing experience

• Neuro surgery experience required

• Trauma, orthopedics, and robotics surgical experience required

• Epic EMR experience required

• First-time travelers are not accepted
