DON - Director of Nursing

• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee the delivery of resident care, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Respond to resident and family concerns in a timely and compassionate manner

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting
• Previous experience as a DON or Assistant DON preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing homes
• Passion for providing quality care and improving resident outcomes
