Lineville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated RN Wound Care / Treatment Nurse who is passionate about helping residents heal, preventing complications, and improving quality of life.

This position offers the opportunity to use your nursing expertise beyond a traditional floor assignment while developing meaningful relationships with residents and the clinical team.

• Perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments
• Provide wound treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor wound healing and document progress
• Conduct routine skin and wound rounds
• Identify residents at risk for skin breakdown
• Coordinate pressure injury prevention interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in individualized wound care planning
• Educate nurses and CNAs on skin integrity and wound prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
• Promote resident comfort, dignity, and healing

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Wound care or treatment nursing experience preferred
• Long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital experience preferred
• Wound care certification is a plus
