The Chef will collaborate closely with the kitchen staff, procurement team, and management to innovate and uphold high standards in Chinese cuisine, enhancing our brand reputation and business growth.

The Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine will be responsible for developing and executing menu offerings that emphasize authentic Chinese culinary traditions while also incorporating innovative approaches that appeal to local palates.

• Maintain the highest quality of ingredients and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard, balancing taste and presentation.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in the nuances of Chinese cooking techniques and proper use of kitchen equipment to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team in planning promotions and special events to enhance customer engagement and boost business growth.

• Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine.
• Expertise in a range of traditional Chinese cooking techniques and familiarity with authentic regional ingredients.
• Certification from a recognized culinary school or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to facilitate collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proven track record of creativity in menu design and adapting Chinese cuisine to a Western audience.

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr
