As a Security Officer – Access Control Driver in Pennington, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter potential security‑related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with all individuals on site.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Assist with the implementation of access control procedures as established by site‑specific policies and guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting personnel, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or other security‑related incidents.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and irregularities as required by site protocols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding security‑related matters and observed activities.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and providing information to emergency responders when necessary.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
