As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Coaling, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, both inside and outside the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to help maintain order and help to deter potential issues.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
