Overview
Weekend House Mom for Maternity Home at Mary s Shelter Gulf Coast, Elberta, AL. Full-time weekend position supporting a homeless shelter/program for pregnant women and their children. This role supports a positive social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual living environment. We operate 24/7 and are seeking a compassionate and efficient team player to join our weekend team.
Responsibilities- Attend to resident needs and help resolve issues.
- Teach and advocate for residents when necessary.
- Monitor facilities to ensure resident safety and security.
- Enforce house rules and policies to support proper home operations.
- Prepare reports and maintain appropriate documentation as required.
- Oversee, monitor, and assist with weekend case plan assignments with residents per their Case Worker.
- Oversee congregate activities, such as meal times and life skills classes.
- Coordinate community service hours and other activities.
- Track residents, visitors, and volunteers within the home.
- Assist with kitchen operations and clean-up as needed.
- Refer crisis situations or complex issues to the Supervisor.
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred).
- CPR Certification (Preferred).
- Must pass Background Check.
- Must have valid Driver's License.
Compensation: $12.00 per hour. 12-week probationary period, with full benefits after completion.
Benefits after 90 day trial period:

Schedule- Weekend Shift: Saturday 7am through Monday 7am.
