What’s your role?As the Fitness Trainer you are a high‑energy, positive member of the team who will help our members achieve their fitness goals and build their confidence in using the equipment properly. You will run the Planet Fitness group fitness program PE@PF and design simple workout programs. You will create “raving fans” by delivering 1% customer service, continually engaging and encouraging our members to succeed on their fitness journey.
Responsibilities- Ensure equipment is maintained and handle minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean club environment.
- Find and enroll new and current members into fitness classes.
- Help the front‑desk team with welcoming members, tours, enrollment, and other club responsibilities.
- Act as a passionate leader, inviting members to enjoy fitness.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Passion for helping others.
- Nationally Certified Training Certification.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and ability to demonstrate each piece.
- Can perform physical demands: communicate, stand, walk, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, reach, climb, balance, kneel, handle hazardous chemicals.
- On‑time dependability.
- English language proficiency. Bilingual Spanish is helpful.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Schedule: Varies; may include weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $9 – $15 per hour
