Onsite Yard Manager: Vance, Alabama

Based in Vance, AL – you will provide on-site coverage and management for all operational needs to ensure all SOP and safety measures are met. You will serve as the primary point of contact for yard activity, supporting drivers, carriers, and OEM partners while maintaining smooth, compliant, and safe operations across all vehicle movements and yard functions for RPM carriers.

• Perform Driver quality checks and supervise carrier check-in process
• Manage/assist with customer quality holds/stop-ships
• Driver App training/troubleshooting
• Damage coding, operational risk mitigation – report repetitive damage back to RPM and Customer
• Supervise vehicle loading operations
• Supervise and perform vehicle staging activities
• Observe and assist where needed
• General OEM and carrier support (VIN swap)
• Manage loads in RPM’s TMS
• Risk identification, train, and support directly with our carriers
• Quality calls/safety compliance for new, existing, and high-volume carriers
• Assist with Training of new hires
• Oversee and support RPM yard representatives/labor
• Assist with carrier and OEM relationships
• Assist with OEM yard audits to ensure our carriers are compliant
• Assist in the maintenance of equipment and company vehicles
• Able to react to change productively by working in a variety of situations and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with other customers, vendors, co-workers, and management
• Report accidents and injuries on appropriate forms and communicate such to all appropriate customers/vendors and RPM Management

• 2 - 4+ years of Logistics Experience
• Must be on site in Vance, Alabama
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to Manage Multiple Projects
• Driven Team Player
