This isn’t a stepping stone or trainee position. We’re looking for someone with several years of true management experience—ideally a current store manager who’s tired of 60+ hour workweeks and ready to thrive in a professional, high-performing environment that values balance and excellence.

Assistant Store Manager

Location:
Alabaster, AL

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week

This is a challenging yet rewarding position where you ll work closely with store leadership to manage operations, lead the team, and uphold our reputation as the best in the business.

• Leadership & Support: Partner with the Store Manager to lead daily operations and support overall team performance.
• Customer Experience: Ensure our customers receive the professionalism and hospitality that make us a 5-star-rated business.
• Team Oversight: Assist with training, coaching, and holding team members accountable to standards.
• Sales Strategy: Help execute store goals and promotions while coaching team members on effective sales techniques.
• Operational Duties: Support inventory management, cash handling, compliance, and process improvement.

• Proven experience as an assistant manager, store manager, or retail department head.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to coach others and make tough calls when needed.
• High personal standards and attention to detail.
• A team-first mindset with interest in growing long-term with the company.
• Experience with pawn, firearms, or high-value retail sales is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Must be legally able and comfortable working with firearms.

• Pay: $18–$20 per hour, plus performance-based monthly bonuses. Est: 45k+ with bonuses
• Schedule: 40-hour weeks with structured hours for better work-life balance.
