Fire Alarm Technician – Fire Safety and Protection

• Design and program fire alarm systems to meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and stakeholders to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and reports.
• Stay current with code changes, industry best practices, and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all codes and safety protocols.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

• Experience programming, testing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with specialized software and tools for programing fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing these systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform the job duties.
• Degree or certification in a related field is preferred.

• Period of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Physically able to install system hardware and wiring.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds at a time.
