Driver Non CDL Regional

Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Non-CDL Truck Driver in Alabaster, AL.

Pay: $1050 or more per week.

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.40 per Mile with 1500 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $10.00 per Stop
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with 2 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Load Out Pay: $21.50
• Paid Training

• Start Time: 2:30 am

• Deliver SOLETo: AL, LA, MS, TN, GA, FL
• Route:
  Regional
• Tractor Type: 26' straight trucks
• Must have box truck and delivery experience
• Freight:
  Touch – Glass - Hand unload and Forklift

• Uniforms and Boot Allowance Provided

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years experience within the last 10 years)
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
