About The PositionThe Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial equipment. Duties include loading, unloading, stacking, and transporting products, scanning items, printing labels, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities- Safely operate forklift and related equipment to move products or materials.
- Load, unload, and store products and materials.
- Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
- Use equipment to scan products and print labels.
- Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems.
- Follow product rotation procedures and perform cycle counts.
- Conduct daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
- Maintain facility readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.
- Report incidents to supervisor.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Minimum two years of forklift operating experience; licensed or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
