Overview

Customer Service Associate I at Dollar Tree Stores – Join our team to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

Location:

Alachua, Florida

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
