Endocrinology Physician

Greetings,

Maxim Staffing, seeking an Endocrinologist to provide fulltime locums coverage for the Endocrinology Department in Alameda, CA. Position comes with weekly compensation and covered malpractice.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and managing patients with Endocrine disorders in both the outpatient and inpatient settings
• Maintenance and development of clinical programs and patient care delivery model(s) that are consistent with current professional standards and with the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Academic Responsibilities

• Teaching, supervision, evaluation of Internal Medicine residents and medical students
• Assisting the Residency Leadership team in curriculum development for Endocrine
• Didactic Lectures and Board Review for Internal Medicine Residents
• Serving as a professional role model for trainees with peers, patients, families and other members of the health care team.

Required Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Completion of accredited ACGME or AOA Internal Medicine Residency & Endocrine Fellowship
• Board Certified in Endocrinology
• At least 5 years of clinical practice in Endocrinology
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position preferred
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of California
• DEA License
